FAQ

We know it can be a little intimidating walking in to a new church for the first time. Hopefully we can help with that by answering some frequently asked questions!

What time are your services?

On Sunday morning, we have Sunday Growth Groups which start at 9am, and then we have one main service at 10:15am.


On Wednesday nights, all of our Growth Groups and Family Ministries start at 7pm.

What does

a service look like?

Our services are roughly an hour and a half long. We start with a time of praise and worship, where we invite you to sing, shout, lift your hands, or praise the Lord however you feel most comfortable. Then after a time of greeting and announcements, Pastor Ernest will share a relatable word that is scripture based and applicable to your everyday life.

What should

I wear?

At Conroe First, you’ll see everything from suits to t-shirts and jeans. Wear what makes you feel comfortable—you’re with family here!

Where should I park?

We have a parking spot saved just for you near the main entrance! Look for the “Guest Parking” signs at the front of the blacktop.

We recommend getting here 10-15 minutes early so you can park and find your way around before service begins.

How can I learn more about the church & get involved?

The “About Us” page on our website is a great resource! You can learn all about our Pastors and staff, as well as explore all the ministries we have here at Conroe First. Once you’re ready to dive in, join our Next Steps class! This is a great opportunity to learn more about our different ministries and find an area to get involved.

What is available for kids & youth?

We have AMAZING kids and youth programs! Pastor Chase and Pastor Aaron are passionate about making kids and youth feel loved and seen, while also teaching them the truth of God’s word in a way that is understandable and relatable for their age.


Sunday Mornings:

Nursery (0-4 years)

Conroe Kids (kindergarten-5th grade) (upstairs)

Conroe Youth Sunday Growth Group (before service at 9am)

Wednesday Nights:

Nursery (0-4 years)

Conroe Kids BIBLE NIGHT (kindergarten-5th grade) (gym)

Conroe Youth (6th-12th grade) (upstairs)



We have a detailed check-in process for Conroe Kids, and all of our staff and volunteers are thoroughly vetted and trained to work with kids. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes early to check in and get settled before service begins.
